High-end shoe and handbag line Purse Flats™ was featured on MSNBC’s Your Business that aired on May 8, 2010.

During the Elevator Pitch segment of the show Your Business on MSNBC, Purse Flats™ founder Erika Wilson presented her creation to a panel of judges, demonstrating that Purse Flats™ is a promising investment. The panel consisted of Jennifer Hill, vice-president of Astia, and Cynthia Franklin, senior associate director of the Berkeley Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at NYU’s Stern School of Business. Both judges were very impressed with Wilson’s pitch. Hill even went on to express her satisfaction with the product, saying “I love this idea and I am absolutely your customer.”

Purse Flats™ consist of a pair of tri-fold leather ballet flats that fit in a matching clutch. The flats are made from high-end materials and feature a patented non-porous rubber sole for durability. The clutch also comes with a larger satin bag to hold your heels after changing into the flats. With additional pockets for storage, the clutch can also easily hold necessities such as a cell phone, credit cards, money and keys. For stylish women who don’t want to choose between fashion and comfort, Purse Flats™ are any season’s must-have.

Purse Flats™ come in a variety of colors and fabrics. Apart from the original ‘Elegant Black’ purse and shoes, the product is also available in white and chocolate, all made from high quality Italian leather. The line also features a special edition ‘Bridal White’ purse and shoes, ideal for brides who are looking for comfort during their special day. In addition, in light of the current harsh economic times, Purse Flats™ offers a recession-friendly version of its products, featuring heavy cotton instead of leather. The ‘Recession Purse’ retails for considerably less than the rest of the line.

Purse Flats™ are available online at http://www.purseflats.com. A purse and shoes combination retails between $135 and $250. Customers also have the option to purchase the products individually. The flats retail for $100 and, depending on fabric and color, the purse retails from $75 to $160.
