Lisa Dunbar, Senior Consultant at New Directions Consulting will be presenting The Road to Top-Notch Teaming: The Best and Brightest Ideas of Successful Teams at the second annual Bright Ideas Conference. The Bright Ideas Conference, held at Siena College near Albany, NY, is an information-packed, half-day event that provides participants with a host of opportunities to increase their knowledge and grow their businesses in the Capital Region.
The conference features keynote speaker, Mark Henson of sparkspace with attendees also participating in two of the four workshops being offered. Dunbar's session on teaming is one of the four workshops being offered. "We are very excited to be participating in this year's conference. As an organization that believes firmly in innovation and change in order to become a high performance business, this seemed like a perfect venue to discuss teaming within organizations," states Dunbar. Dunbar continues to say, "Teaming was extremely popular in the early 1990s and then took a back seat for a few years. We are seeing a huge resurgence of teaming within the workplace with multi-generational, multi-culture, and multi-media playing a huge roll in propelling teaming forward into the 21st century."
To celebrate Dunbar's speaking event New Directions Consulting has named May as Team-Building Month. Throughout the month of May the company is using various social media platforms to feature articles, videos, give-aways, discussions and blogs centered on the idea of team-building.
