Springtime is here, and everyone is in the mood to be outdoors playing and treating one another to some refreshingly delicious ice cream. Just in time for spring, Lovin’ Scoopful has come up with three new great tasting, low calorie ice cream flavors that will cool you down while lifting your spirits.

Lovin’ Scoopful’s gourmet light ice cream has 1/2 the fat and 1/3 fewer calories than other premium ice creams. The delicious and figure-friendly treat is made with an all-natural base that comes from the milk and cream of cows not treated with the cow growth hormone, rBST. This natural approach promotes a healthier lifestyle while maintaining a super-premium taste.

Lovin’ Scoopful is currently available in thirteen seasonal flavors, and this spring Lovin’ is proud to share the “inside scoop” with customers about its newest three flavors:

· Mad About Mud Pie - Made with coffee, cookies and cream, almonds and fudge.
· Rockin’ Raspberry Cheesecake - Made with raspberries and cheesecake bits.

Lovin' Scoopful is pleased to announce that it's gourmet light ice cream is now available for the first time in grocery stores in select east coast and southern states. New retailers and regions include Big Y and other independent grocers in Massachusetts and Connecticut; Bi-Lo in Tennessee, Georgia, North and South Carolina, and Walmart in Tennessee. Raley's, Nob Hill and Bel Air in northern California are also new retailers carrying Lovin' in 2010. Lovin' is also available at other select grocery retailers located throughout the western United States including: Save Mart, Lucky, Albertson's, Ralphs and Walmart Supercenters.

Lovin’ Scoopful is very excited to announce its newest social media tool to the world, a brand new Facebook application called: What Flavor Ice Cream Are You? Lovin’ Scoopful has created a new Facebook application designed to be fun and engaging for new and existing fans of the brand. Facebook fans will be able to interact directly with Lovin’ Scoopful through a series of playful and light-hearted questions. This quiz app will allow fans to tag themselves and their friends as specific Lovin’ Scoopful ice cream flavors, based on their answers. This app provides fans with an entertaining way to match their personalities with ice cream flavors that best represents them. Fans will be able to invite their friends to participate and challenge them to take the quiz to see how well they match-up.
