eNeighborhoods, the nation’s premier compiler of home and neighborhood information, has reached a data-sharing milestone with its 630th MLS IDX listing feed, collectively representing over 4.3 million listings and more than 40 million photos. eNeighborhoods is a division of Dominion Enterprises.

Each MLS that authorizes eNeighborhoods as an IDX provider is a distinct listing source with differences in the formatting of data, frequency of updates, and the policies required by the MLS to remain compliant with local rules.

Under Harris’s direction, eNeighborhoods has taken a leadership role in evolving standards for real estate data, through development of the Real Estate Transaction Standard (RETS). Harris was recently elected chair of the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) Research and Development workgroup. He will be participating in the “Business Cases for Standardization under the Real Estate Standards Organization” roundtable session at the NAR Mid-Year Conference in Washington, DC on Thursday, May 13.
