Baltimore Plastic Surgeon James E. Vogel MD Featured Speaker at Global Plastic Surgery Conference

Dr. James E. Vogel, a plastic surgeon in Baltimore who has been voted a Top Doc by Baltimore Magazine and now serves as one of that program’s Physician Advisors, was a recent featured speaker at this year’s annual meeting of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. ASAPS is known as the leading organization of board-certified cosmetic plastic surgeons.

A local plastic surgeon, offering an array of plastic surgery procedures such as body contouring, face lifts, breast augmentation, hair transplants and rhinoplasty in Baltimore, headed to Washington, DC last month to teach plastic surgeons from around the world some of the latest techniques in his field. James E. Vogel, MD was a featured speaker at The Aesthetic Meeting 2010, a multi-day event sponsored by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the leading organization of board-certified plastic surgeons. This is the 43rd year of the ASAPS annual meeting, and brings together plastic surgeons from all over the world to talk about the latest advances in plastic surgery.

Dr. Vogel spoke to a compendium of medical professionals about the latest techniques in specific plastic surgery treatments, as well as the importance of continuing education in plastic surgery for professionals in the field. As an expert offering face lifts in Baltimore, as well as breast and body contouring procedures, Dr. Vogel says he was excited to be invited to speak at the annual meeting and to discuss new advances with surgeons from across the globe.

Dr. Vogel has been voted a Top Doc by Baltimore Magazine, and was recently named one of three Physician Advisors to the magazine’s annual Top Docs list, chosen for his expertise and leadership in the field of plastic surgery.

The ASAPS Aesthetic Meeting 2010 will be held from April 22nd-27th at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center in Washington, DC. The organization was founded in 1967 and is comprised of 2,400 members from all over the world. ASAPS requires exceptionally high ethical and professional standards for acceptance, and is known as the leading plastic surgery organization. Part of the goal of its annual meeting is to gather professionals in the fields of aesthetic enhancement and reconstructive surgery together for a showcase of new technologies and techniques, and presentations on the future of plastic surgery.
