Small business achieves nearly 90 percent cost savings in moving to hosted Exchange email service

  •     Increased Internal Collaboration and Communication – Using Hosted SharePoint, the company has created a custom template for managing orders from origination to post-closing. The template outlines the tasks at each step and enables responsible parties to record status. These tasks could not be managed as effectively within the expensive appraisal software solution the company uses.   •     Reliability – E-Appraisal has enjoyed 100 percent uptime since switching to Apptix. A momentary issue with SharePoint Service was resolved within five minutes and included a follow-up call from customer service to confirm that the service was back up and running.
  •     Cost Savings – E-Appraisal’s previous email solution was charging per megabyte for storage. With the company having to send large appraisal files and retain client communication, the costs added up to be as high as $500 per month. Today, their total cost for SharePoint, IM, and email are under $60.
  •     Mobile Functionality – The hosted solution allows the team to have the same email functionality whether in the office or on their home computers.
