Ghent, NY (PRWEB) May 12, 2010

As the summer approaches and wireless phone users take to the golf course, Mobile Media Location Holdings, Inc. (Molomeho) today announced the availability of the GolfDigest® GPS™ application that gives golfers accurate yardage information on their GPS-enabled wireless phones. GolfDigest GPS is the first golf GPS product for mobile phones that provides full digital golf course maps showing the golfer’s real position on the course and allowing the golfer to measure their distance to any other point on the hole. Golfers can “see” their way around doglegs, find the distance to hazards and accurately plan their lay-up shots.

GolfDigest GPS uses the GPS technology in a golfer’s wireless phone to plot their location on a digital golf course map. It provides immediate, accurate yardages to any point on the hole while continually updating the distance to the front, center and back of the green, helping the golfer choose the right club for every shot. Golfers see a “bird’s eye view” of their position on their phone screen including the tee box, fairways, hazards, cart paths and the green. As the golfer approaches the green, GolfDigest GPS automatically zooms in for increased map detail and updated yardages. GolfDigest GPS also allows golfers to interactively see how far they are from hazards, determine lay-up distances and keep score.

“Golfers are always looking to improve their game and GolfDigest GPS delivers exactly what they need instantly via their GPS-enabled AT&T phone,” said Michael Forbes, Vice President of Marketing for Molomeho. “GolfDigest GPS not only delivers accurate yardage measurements, but it is the only golf GPS available on mobile phones that shows exactly where the golfer is on a map, and that’s invaluable information especially in dogleg and limited visibility situations.”
