Highlighting the firm’s ecological commitment and design quality, along with its successful business model, Spector Group (http://www.spectorgroup.com), one of New York’s premiere architecture and design firms, has been named among the top 50 in Architect magazine’s second annual “Architect 50” ranking.
“We are honored to be recognized,” states Marc Spector, AIA, a principal of Spector Group. “Green design is a growing sector of our business and one we feel passionately about, so it is especially noteworthy for us to be recognized for this.”
Spector Group placed 45th in the competitive ranking, joining esteemed firms such as FXFOWLE Architects, DLR Group and Fentress Architects, to name a few. The companies were classified according to sustainable practices, revenue per employee, and number of awards received. A comprehensive survey was administered to 161 firms from early January through mid-March 2010 to assemble the list.
Scott Spector, AIA, a principal at Spector Group, notes, “The criteria were extremely demanding. The fact that we were able to make the list is a testament to the success of our business strategy, the quality of our work, and our extremely talented staff.”
