Advanced Training Concepts’ programs will now include the WKC Elite Fitness Protocol in addition to The KettleHell BootKamp and KettleKore, The WKC Elite Fitness Protocol (EFP) is a progressive strength and conditioning program designed by World Champion Valery Fedorenko. The WKC Elite Fitness Protocol can be tailored for the novice to advanced lifter and provides 20 levels of systematic progression through timed sets and undulation of rest periods, using only a single Kettlebell and fundamental kettlebell exercises The EFP will provide an enhanced training setting for progression in the Kettlebell Sport, also known internationally as the Girevoy Sport. The KettleHell BootKamp (KHBK) is a high-intensity, fast paced, semi-private fitness program that enhances every aspect of physical performance as well as building lean muscle and reducing body fat levels. KettleKore is a new addition to the programs offered at Advanced Training Concepts, instructed by Elizabeth Upchurch, Certified Personal Fitness Trainer and KBC Level 1 Kettlebell Instructor. KettleKore is geared specifically to beginners and utilizes all the core kettlebell movements as well as hybrid movements, body weight exercises, and Vinyasa Flow Yoga. The Girevoy Sport (GS), or Kettlebell sport, is relatively new to the United States but began in Russia in 1948 and is competed in on an international and professional level. Originating in Eastern Europe, Kettlebell lifting became a method to enhance athletic development by increasing flexibility, agility, strength, endurance, speed, power, and core stability. The foundation of Kettlebell lifting is based on a select number of highly skilled movements. The Kettlebell has become recognized for its versatility and endless exercises, whether they are hybrid movements or originating from the Kettlebell Sport. The World Kettlebell Club, the governing body of Kettlebell Sport, is an international organization composed of a network of national Kettlebell lifting clubs from around the World.
