The producers of “Off Hollywood,” an independent feature-length film currently in production in Hollywood, have launched a series of contests that give anyone in America a shot at the “Hollywood dream” by allowing them to audition for a part in their movie or a spot in the crew. Contest winners will be brought to Los Angeles for an all expenses paid weekend to share the “Off Hollywood” movie experience and be in front of the camera on set. The contests include not only acting parts, but also camera stand-in roles and a theme song competition.

"We are giving people a real shot at the dream," said Joe O’Donnell, the film’s director. "This is an opportunity for anyone in America to experience the Hollywood dream without sleeping on sofas for 10 years like I did."

About Off Hollywood

“Off Hollywood” is a truly independent film currently in production in Hollywood. In the story a lowly playwright from the prairie is called to Hollywood by the ghost of Orson Welles to save Hollywood from its doldrums of sequels, prequels, remakes and spin-offs. Living in his Uncle Don’s storage unit, and out of options, Davis Davis is forced to first make an “adult film” in order to fund the epic that he is certain will save Hollywood and return it to its glory and greatness!
