On Wednesday, May 26, 2010, Classic Residence by Hyatt residents and employees will join approximately 100,000 older adults to celebrate the nation’s largest senior health event, the 17th annual National Senior Health & Fitness Day. Held annually on the last Wednesday in May as part of Older Americans Month, older adults across the country will take part in health and fitness activities hosted by a variety of public and private organizations. Building on its commitment to the health and wellness of older adults, Classic Residence by Hyatt communities will observe the day with walking programs, exercise clinics, demonstrations, speakers, wellness classes and more.

  •     Residents and staff will learn new ways to exercise, including: Qi gong, belly dancing, yoga, and balance and stability classes at Classic Residence by Hyatt in Monterey;
  •     And, at Classic Residence by Hyatt in Highlands Ranch located in Denver, residents will enjoy the great outdoors with a lively scavenger hunt and later cheer for their favorite employees competing in “Classic Relays.”
