Names Editor-in-Chief as Site Passes the 10,000 Writer Milestone

Veteran editor Michael Kedda joins Suite101 to oversee editorial team and monitor article quality.

In this role he will work closely with Suite101’s editorial team to help writers craft high quality and interesting articles. In addition to the new Editor-in-Chief, announced it now has over 10,000 writers across the globe that provide content for the site.

The top editorial position is one of the most important aspects to the overall quality of content provided on Suite 101, and in the guidance of new writers as they create articles for Suite101. As Editor-in-Chief, Kedda will be responsible for overseeing the global editorial team, helping them to provide counsel to the writers of Suite101, with an emphasis on providing a compelling content.

Kedda comes from a strong new media background. Most recently, he was the online channel manager for the Symbian Foundation where he oversaw principal websites for the company’s large-scale development and consumer communities. Prior to this, he worked as the launch editor for Channel 4 UK’s VOD platform 4oD; managing editor for 3 (UK), leading editorial innovation and production for the UK’s first mobile media channel; and editor at UK.
