Franklin, TN (PRWEB) May 13, 2010
Genisys Group Inc. (http://www.teamggi.com) a leading IT solutions company located outside Nashville, Tennessee announced it will give 10% of the revenue from its new disaster recovery and virtualization services to aid the flood relief efforts in Middle Tennessee.
"We are proud to make this donation," said Genisys Vice President of Finance and Operations Amy Levy. “Our company and employees wanted to do something to help those affected by this disaster, and being located in Middle Tennessee we really want to help the community that has helped us achieve the growth and success over the last 13 years. The devastation the floods have caused is throughout our community and the relief effort will take many years.”
Damages to Nashville alone now are being estimated at $1.5 billion, a total that is expected to rise because all areas had not been fully checked. Relief aid for the tragedy has been helped by many of Nashville’s country music artists including Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, and Tim McGraw. Many businesses with ties to Middle Tennessee are also pledging donations including HCA and Nissan, whose North American operations are headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee, a suburb of Nashville.
