Budco, a leading fulfillment and direct marketing company, was presented with three Target Awards in recognition of their outstanding work for direct marketing initiatives within the health care industry. The awards were presented by the Direct Marketing Association of Detroit (DMAD) in a ceremony held on Tuesday, May 11, 2010.
This is the third year running that Budco has received at least two awards at the annual event.

Budco delivered these successful programs by combining their health care industry knowledge and expertise with a wide array of in-house marketing competencies, including creative design, printing, mailing, fulfillment, information technology and contact center capabilities.
A campaign for St. John’s Health System entitled “Be Smart, Stay Well” focused on promoting wellness and preventive care and helped potential patients locate a doctor in their area of residence. The program significantly increased physician referrals and patient appointments.
Also, two separate programs for Health Alliance Plan (HAP) were recognized. These lead generation programs focus on marketing Medicare Advantage plans, Medigap plans and a prescription drug plan. Results include double the response rate versus the previous program and a significant reduction in the cost per lead.
