Schnieders to Join Innovative Education Services Company to Help Continue to Improve the Online Interactive Student Experience

Deltak edu, Inc., an industry leader and innovator in higher education and distance learning, has named Robert Schnieders as their Chief Learning Officer. Schnieders will be responsible for helping Deltak continue to improve the online student learning experience for the students enrolled in their partner institutions.

Robert comes to Deltak from the University of Chicago Urban Education Institute where he was the Director of National Engagement. During his time there, he led projects such as 6to16, a new college readiness innovation that combines the power of social networking and e-learning. He also led the national expansion of STEP, a PreK-3 literacy assessment.

From September 1999-September 2005, Robert was Founder, President and CEO of AHA! Interactive, Inc., a web-based, K-12 human capital management solutions provider.

“Adding Robert to the team at this time is very important. As online education continues to grow, students will increasingly differentiate between institutions and programs based on the quality of the online learning experience,” said Craig Pines, President and CEO of Deltak. “His experience in the area of learning outcomes as well as his background in developing rich online learning environments will result in a better overall experience for students and our partner faculty.”

Deltak has been providing services to its higher education partners for over twelve years. Partners benefit from Deltak’s expertise in online degree market evaluation, operational management, marketing, student recruitment, student retention services, and online course development. Through collaborative partnerships Deltak has helped a number of colleges and universities to expand the reach of their doctoral, masters and bachelor degree programs, bringing the unique mission of each partner institution to new audiences and increasing both student population and revenue.
