Filippo Berio has launched a new TV campaign on Food Network Canada. The English and French campaign aimed at adults between the ages of 35 and 64 was created by Concord Sales Ltd., the distributor of Filippo Berio olive oil in Canada. The campaign will build on Filippo Berio heritage positioning with its new tagline "A Heritage of Taste”. The fully integrated consumer program will also include sponsorship of “Italian Cooking Marathon” featuring Giada at Home and David Rocco’s Dolce Vita cooking shows. To supplement the TV campaign Filippo Berio will introduce a series of English and French ads in publications such as Chatelaine, Canadian Living and Coup de Pouce, Madame, and recipe tags with IRC at retail level. “The feedback we have received from consumers has been insightful and indicative of the brand's strong association with heritage and Italy,” said Tony Luongo of Concord sales Ltd. “Promoting increased usage and teaching new consumers about olive oil health benefits is number #1 priority.” The overall TV and print campaign will run until October 30, 2010.
