A recent survey conducted by the Enterprise Desktop Alliance cited 65% of business IT respondents saying that it costs less to troubleshoot Macs than PCs in their operation. A majority of respondents said that the cost for managing Macs was more than 20% less than PCs. The cost categories surveyed included troubleshooting, help desk calls, system configuration, user training, and supporting infrastructure, such as servers, networks, and printers.
