Absolutely. We've supported the East and West Coast ports for years, so it made perfect sense to expand our operations to the Gulf Coast, especially in consideration of the Panama Canal expansion project. We already have plans in place to ramp-up our equipment inventory and staff as the project grows closer to completion over the next few years.

ComRent International, an industry leader in load banking rentals and services, has expanded its operations, opening ComRent Gulf Coast (Mobile, Alabama) earlier this month. With this addition, the company now operates 15 full service regional offices and inventory centers across North America.

According to Clayton Taylor, President of ComRent International, this is standard operating procedure for the company. "We're an on-demand business," stated Mr. Taylor, "We stand-up operations where we're needed most - most consistently - to more efficiently serve our local and national customers. We've experienced increasing demand for our services in the greater Mississippi and Alabama regions for some time now in both the industrial sector as well as in maritime."

When asked if the Panama Canal played a role in the decision to open the Gulf Coast office, Mr. Taylor commented, "Absolutely. We've supported the East and West Coast ports for years, so it made perfect sense to expand our operations to the Gulf Coast, especially in consideration of the Panama Canal expansion project. We already have plans in place to ramp-up our equipment inventory and staff as the project grows closer to completion over the next few years."

ComRent also recently announced plans to increase its presence in Canada and to open its doors internationally, both in Europe and Asia.

A multiple Inc. 500 honoree, ComRent® International, LLC owns the largest fleet of load banks in North America - more than 2,000 units. The company's load banks, including both resistive and reactive (inductive and capacitive) models, are capable of testing up to 50+ MW. Combining this equipment with a high level of expertise and the convenience of 15 locations across North America, ComRent is well positioned to meet the market's growing demand for load bank rental services.
