A former chair of the Taxation Law Section, Feeney is presently a member of the Section's Executive Committee and serves as Trustee Liaison to the group. As a partner in the Tax and Benefits group at McCarter, Feeney's practice covers all aspects of state and local tax, including tax planning, administrative hearings before the New Jersey Division of Taxation and New Jersey Tax Court. Her local property tax practice includes valuation analysis, settlement negotiations and litigation before the County Tax Boards and New Jersey Tax Court. In addition, Feeney is a leader in the firm's Redevelopment group, assisting real estate clients in securing approvals, redeveloper designation and tax abatements and incentives in redevelopment areas.
She was named in the NJBIZ 2009 roster of the Best 50 Women in Business. For four consecutive years, Feeney has been included in The Best Lawyers in America.
