Lexi-Comp Awarded Contract as Drug Information Provider for the Military Health System (MHS)

Agreement provides access for all MHS healthcare personnel in the United States Army, Navy, and Air Force

Lexi-Comp, Inc., a leading provider of clinical information and drug data solutions for healthcare professionals, was recently awarded a contract by TRICARE Management Activity (TMA) to provide the Military Health System with an Electronic Clinical Reference (ECR) Solution. The estimated contract award is valued with option years at $10 million.

Under the ECR contract, all MHS Active Duty, Reserve, and Guard healthcare personnel across all military treatment facilities, including 59 hospitals and 364 health clinics, have access to Lexi-Comp's 23 medical and 9 dental databases. The information is referenced when making decisions on prescribing, administering, and monitoring the effects of medications to help ensure patient safety and avoid drug interactions.
