Botox May Soon Take a Back Seat on a New Beauty Train

South Plainfield, New Jersey, May 25, 2010. Beautystricken Cosmetics, LLC, announces the upcoming launch of its signature product, Face Refrain, an innovative facial expression inhibitor serum. The patent-pending product will be sold in high end boutiques and department stores, as well as on-line, and will also feature auxiliary products, including a soft-focus moisturizer designed to blur out facial imperfections, and is expected to hit store shelves by mid-summer.

Beautystricken Co-Founder and licensed cosmetologist Sandra Mammone longed for a simple, non surgical alternative to Botox—one that could both smooth existing wrinkles, yet also somehow train the face to avoid making certain facial expressions that create new ones, such as laugh lines and crow’s feet. “When I found there was no such product on the market, we set out to create on ourselves!” said Sandra.

First conceptualized as a liquid bandage for stubborn wrinkles by co-founder Robert Mammone, a PH.D. Chemist with an extensive background in polymer chemistry, the couple knew their product had to be more than “just tape” to compete in today’s cutting-edge skin care market. After consulting with leading cosmetic chemists to create their formulation, one that promises to “Train to Refrain, “ Face Refrain seems uniquely poised to do just that.

“This product is truly triple threat to the appearance of wrinkles, “said R. Mammone—“Not only does it provide an immediate wrinkle smoothing effect, but it also is enriched with a cocktail of peptides to reduce the signs of aging with continued use. And, most remarkably, it can be applied as often as needed throughout the day and used as a training tool so you don’t find yourself making the faces that cause expression lines in the first place…”

Price Points for Face Refrain will be approx $60 for 10ml size. Interested retailers and members of the media may contact the company directly for further information.
