Tycoon Systems, a provider simulation based leadership development programs, officially launches its US operations at the ASTD 2010 Exposition in Chicago.

Tycoon Systems Inc officially launches its US operations at the ASTD 2010 Exposition in Chicago. The simulation software company delivers simulation-based leadership development programs across the globe.

''Over the past 12 months our business in the US grew more strongly than in all other regions of the world,'' said Tycoon Systems president Thomas Lehnert. ''The ASTD Expo is an opportunity for us to invite attendees to experience our web-based business simulations by trying them out at our booth.“

Tycoon Systems is the developer of IndustryMasters, a business simulation platform that is built by using real-world data and economic concepts. A unique aspect of the IndustryMasters platform is that it can be customized to realistically replicate a clients' company real-word data and business.

Custom made IndustryMasters simulations are already in use by US corporations in leadership development programs. As an example Siemens USA has used a simulation of the Siemens corporations' overall business to teach finance to business managers.

“This was the best finance module ever,“ said Celia Dayagi from the Operations Leadership Development Program at Siemens Energy & Automation Inc. “Our program manager has suggested we use this form of instruction for future concepts.“

Tycoon Systems' simulation-based leadership development programs are delivered by it's own instructors as well as by it's certified training partners, such as MDI Management Development International, based in Iowa.

IndustryMasters simulations are also becoming popular in the academic world. Recently the George Washington University and California State University integrated web-based IndustryMasters business simulation courses into their curriculum.

''My favorite part of the class was the IndustryMasters simulation game. This was a very creative and fun method to get the class involved in entrepreneurial planning,'' a student from George Washington University said after completing his IndustryMasters course.

IndustryMasters simulation courses for academic institutions can be delivered with or without facilitation by the lecturer. These simulations easily integrate into any learning management system, or can be provided as a stand-alone interactive exercise, accessible via a dedicated URL. They come with an integrated gradebook where lecturers can at any moment assess the students' activities.

Since 2005 Tycoon Systems provides business simulation technologies with a specific focus on business education. Tycoon Systems Inc is a privately-held company based in Wilmington, DE.
