Writing skills training experts, IWCC Training, cite "lack of response" as the most common frustration e-mail writers expressed in 2009.

At the beginning of each workshop, we ask participants to list their most common frustrations about e-mail," said Tim Duffy, CEO of IWCC Training. "Of the 2500 who attended our writing workshops in 2009, over 90% expressed the same frustrations.

Duffy adds, "Our workshop participants always find it interesting that they are the root cause of both these frustrations."
