Vesta Partners, LLC, (Vesta) a professional services firm specializing in services that support the SAP® Enterprise Asset Management solution, has finalized its agreement to become a Certified Solution Implementer for Syclo’s SMART Mobile Suite, a comprehensive set of prebuilt, preintegrated products that mobilize asset maintenance, operator rounds, time/attendance tracking and materials management. Recognized as industry experts, Vesta will leverage its expertise with SAP Enterprise Asset Management to deliver mobile solutions and capabilities for customers using Syclo’s industry-leading mobile applications in support of SAP solutions.

“We are thrilled to formalize our relationship with Syclo,” stated Kahn Ellis, senior partner and COO of Vesta. “Syclo’s SMART Mobile Suite complements our existing implementation practice in support of SAP Enterprise Asset Management and enables us to develop, deploy and manage mobile applications. We are excited to provide this new service to our customers as well as strengthen our on-going support of SAP’s efforts aimed at helping manufacturing customers achieve the “Perfect Plant”.”

SAP is enabling companies to create a framework for the “Perfect Plant” by integrating planning, asset management and execution with real-time visibility. As a result, manufacturing networks are more agile, responsive and operationally efficient with SAP solutions. Manufacturers embarking upon the journey towards a “Perfect Plant” gain visibility into all aspects of manufacturing operations, providing the ability to respond faster and minimize impact to the business and bottom line, driving increased yields, asset utilization and order fulfillment. The “Perfect Plant” is the ultimate goal for manufacturers looking to optimize utilization of their manufacturing assets and drive increased production performance in concert with enterprise objectives.

“The SAP manufacturing team overseeing efforts related to the vision of the “Perfect Plant” will be supporting Syclo for mobile EAM opportunities within SAP,” said Paul Boris, vice president, Advanced Manufacturing Solutions, SAP Americas. “The extension of Vesta’s implementation services in support of SAP Enterprise Asset Management to include Syclo presents a strong value proposition and will help our customers optimize utilization of their manufacturing assets and drive increased operational performance. This is critical not only to the organization’s bottom line, but also for driving green initiatives and sustainable processes within manufacturing and operations.”

In March 2009, Syclo announced a co-innovation agreement with SAP AG to deliver mobile applications that enable maintenance and service technicians access to SAP Business Suite software from a broad range of devices regardless of connectivity. http://www.syclo.com/article.php?id=148&tpl=article.tpl Today’s announcement was made at the SAPPHIRE® NOW customer conference and networking event, being held in Orlando through May 19, where Syclo is exhibiting in booth 2814.
