The Cobb County Chamber of Commerce has named Marietta long-term care provider Signature HealthCARE as one of its top 25 small businesses for 2010. Among other accomplishments, Signature HealthCARE of Marietta has been recognized for the manner in which it is revolutionizing the long-term care industry through resident-centered healthcare services, personalized attention to spirituality, quality of life initiatives, and employee development and empowerment.

centered organization that is devoted to the long-term care and spiritual well-being of those it serves. Signature’s professional healthcare providers believe in maintaining the organization’s three key “pillars of HealthCARE.”

ONE: Intra-preneurship – Signature’s stakeholders are its employees. The organization’s philosophy of corporate responsibility means that it values every staff member individually. Executives seek out employee input while encouraging employees to develop and grow professionally, mentally, and spiritually. Such an approach results in greater employee self-actualization and independence. It also creates jobs and leads to innovative approaches that transform lives, impact communities, and revolutionize the health care industry.

TWO: Learning – As a long-term provider, Signature HealthCARE recognizes the importance of education. Signature continues to grow as a “learning organization” by providing a wide array of educational and instructional opportunities for stakeholders, community citizens, and residents. By encouraging education, Signature’s “learning pillar” drives positive change, consistently results in improved resident care, and empowers employees with the support and opportunities they need to experience ongoing personal growth.

THREE: Spirituality – Signature HealthCARE strongly believes in the power and necessity of a healthy spiritual existence. The organization enthusiastically embraces the spiritual “pillar” by providing a non-denominational, inter-faith atmosphere that encourages and enables employees and residents to nurture their spiritual lives. Unlike most long-term care facilities, Signature provides a full-time chaplain to aid residents and staff in their pursuit of spiritual well-being.

Signature HealthCARE of Marietta officially thanks the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce for naming it as one of Cobb County’s top 25 small businesses. The organization also thanks the Chamber for recognizing the effective and efficient manner in which Signature continually meets the needs of residents while introducing innovative approaches that positively redefine the long-term healthcare industry. More than simply a long-term care facility, Signature is a setting where generations meet and life stories intersect—where heroic journeys end and others begin. Going forward, the staff of Signature HealthCARE will continue to model servant leadership as they provide a holistic approach to healing that benefits mind, body, and spirit.
