Zach Hofer-Shall, Analyst, Forrester Research, Inc.

Hofer-Shall serves Customer Intelligence professionals and is a leading expert on Social Intelligence: the technologies, services, and strategy of using social media data to inform customer insight. Hofer-Shall has been with Forrester for two years. Prior to joining Forrester, Hofer-Shall was a Social Media Consultant at a UK-based marketing firm, where he developed a social media monitoring tool and ran the social media strategy service. His work involved building and advising on corporate blogs, planning social media marketing campaigns, developing corporate social media strategies, and driving social media monitoring initiatives. Hofer-Shall received a BS Degree from Union College.

Neil Patil, Senior Vice President & CMO, Overtone, Inc.

Patil is responsible for Overtone’s product strategy, product marketing, and marketing communications functions. He has a strong track record of managing award winning software products and leading high impact marketing teams. Most recently, Patil was vice president of marketing for W5 Networks which developed wireless systems for large retailers. Prior to W5 Networks, Patil led the re-branding, company positioning, and new market strategy as vice president of marketing for business management software company, Activant Solutions. During his tenure the company nearly doubled in size and grew revenues to over $350M. He held product marketing and operations positions at Oracle, 3M, and General Mills. Patil received a BS Degree from The Ohio State University.
