Restaurant.com today announced that Phillips Seafood has been named the featured restaurant for May for the "Restaurant of the Month" program. The restaurant's history, reputation and commitment to fine food and stellar service all weighed into the restaurant's selection for the recognition program. Through the Restaurant of the Month Web page, site visitors can learn about the three generations of Phillips who work side-by-side to serve quality seafood. In addition, site visitors can access an exclusive recipe, learn about seafood dishes and discover other seafood restaurants throughout the country on the Restaurant.com program.

The Restaurant of the Month selection process is based on criteria including the restaurant's popularity with diners, high standards for service, unique cuisine, memorable ambiance, history and more. A family business established in 1956, Phillips Seafood Restaurants have become a tasty tradition in the Mid-Atlantic, serving more than one million diners every year. Phillips Seafood began as a one room "crab shack" in Ocean City, Maryland and has since evolved into nine critically acclaimed locations sought out by diners across the country.

Located in popular travel destinations along the Mid-Atlantic coast, such as Baltimore's Inner Harbor, Myrtle Beach, Washington, D.C., and Atlantic City, travelers planning summer getaways regularly include a visit to Phillips Seafood Restaurants as part of their vacation itinerary.
