The Profiles Research Institute released the 2010 America's Most Productive Companies (AMPC) study, and announced which clients exceeded the productivity of all other candidates within the study. The AMPC client winners have achieved the top productivity ranking in their sub-industry. The 2010 AMPC client winners are: ARRIS Group, Inc., The Coca-Cola Company - Baton Rouge, Gainsco, Inc., and L-3 Communications Holdings, Inc.

"This study is a substantial tool for companies nationwide. The AMPC client winners are truly remarkable companies that deserve the recognition and credibility that comes with it," said Bud Haney, President of Profiles International.

The AMPC study focuses specifically on labor productivity, which is defined as the revenue produced per full-time employee or full-time employee equivalent in 2009. The study focuses only on American organizations.

In order to determine which companies were the most productive, the Profiles Research Institute analyzed financial data from over 2,200 publicly traded companies. This thorough analysis resulted in the discovery of each company's revenue and number of employees, which was then calculated to determine their productivity.

A series of comprehensive studies have been conducted on each company listed in the AMPC study, in order to determine the "best practices" exhibited by each organization. These best practices have been included within the final report in order to encourage and coach other organizations to maximize their productivity. Profiles Research Institute focuses particularly on the five people-related attributes that make a company successful: a performance-driven culture, encouragement of innovation, high employee utilization, high employee effectiveness and effective managers.

"Too often business leaders look at perennial performers and decide that there's some magic formula that makes them great. But this report tells us that there are particular steps that companies can take to increase productivity," says Dario Priolo, Managing Director of the Profiles International Research Institute. "We want to share these steps so that all companies can make the most of their resources and perform at their peak."
