Latino Newspaper Wins Mediabids' $5,000 Per-Inquiry Print Advertising Challenge

Mediabids is happy to announce that Latino Newspaper, located in South Carolina, has won Mediabids’ $5,000 Per-Inquiry Print Advertising Challenge.

Latino Newspaper, based in Mauldin, South Carolina was the winner of the first-ever Mediabids’ Per-Inquiry Challenge, which was open to weekly newspapers across the US. More than 75 newspapers participated in the challenge which required the papers to run a Dish Network ad throughout the month of April. The paper that received the most inquiries, or qualifying phone calls, was awarded the $5,000 prize. Latino Newspaper ran the ad five times and generally as a quarter page, Publisher Wilfredo Leon said. The paper received 41 qualifying responses. A qualifying response was defined as a unique (within 30 days) 60-second call that was made in response to the DISH Network print advertisement.
