The Vail Racquet Club was also ranked among the very best of Vail lodging in the Vail Valley Partnership’s Platinum Service Program, which evaluates and recognizes outstanding customer service in the Vail Valley. Created in 2001, the Platinum Service Program is designed to provide year-to-year customer service measurement tools for improving service to lodging, retail, restaurants and professional services in the Vail Valley. The Vail Racquet Club has received the Platinum Service Program award since 2003. Notes Chris Romer, Director of the Vail Valley Partnership, “The Vail Racquet Club, through their participation and continued success with the Vail Valley Partnership’s Platinum Service Program, has shown a dedication to providing excellent guest service. From the top down, the staff at the Vail Racquet Club display the commitment to providing guest service excellence to customers from their initial phone call through their time of departure. We congratulate the Racquet Club for winning the PSP award again this year.”

“We are thrilled to be recognized by both Expedia and the Vail Valley Partnership,” said Operations Manager Christine Wight. “We work very hard to provide superior service to our guests and it’s rewarding to receive this testament to our ongoing commitment to excellence.”

New Restaurant and Coffee Shop

The Vail Racquet Club also recently announced the opening of a new coffee shop located within the properties’ pro shop. Wendy’s Alpine Coffee Shop opened May 10 and offers gourmet coffee and breakfast items such as homemade strudel, muffins, danish and assorted pastries to guests of the property, East Vail residents and Vail Racquet Club members. In addition, the Alpine Tavern Restaurant & Bar will open for dinner May 28th offering Wiener Schnitzel, bratwurst, beef Wellington, fresh seafood and more. Alpine Tavern’s hours for the summer will be Wednesday through Monday 5:30-10pm, bar 3:30 to 10pm. Poolside lunch will be served in July & August.

“The Alpine Tavern Restaurant and Wendy’s Alpine Coffee Shop will be tremendous amenities for our guests, club members, residents and really anyone who lives in East Vail,” said Wight. “To be able to get a coffee and a pastry in the morning on your way into Vail or a great meal for dinner right here in the East Vail neighborhood is a very welcome asset.”
