On May 14 and 15, 2010 Dallas Cowboys legend and Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Emmitt Smith and his wife, Pat, hosted the Inaugural 2010 Emmitt Smith Celebrity Invitational Celebrity at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas. Suite 22, designed by HAS Events, featured over $100,000 worth of products and services gifted to celebrity friends and supporters of the charity. Benefitting Pat & Emmitt Smith Charities, Suite 22 raised additional funds for the organization and will be added to the soon to be announced grand total of funding raised during this 2-day event.
Suite 22 premiere sponsors included Maui Jim Sunglasses & Yumilicious Frozen Yogurt. Maui Jim Sunglasses gifted over $43,000 worth of Maui Jim designer frames and personally fit each celebrity guest. Emmitt Smith selected a pair from the Sandalwood collection. Yumilicious served their two signature flavors, avocado & red velvet and gifted each celebrity with a gift card giving them free yogurt once a month for one year. Winfred Tubbs said, “I never knew yogurt could taste so good!” Dallas’ newest luxury theatre and signature sponsor, Gold Class Cinemas invited celebrity guests to relax on their ultra-plush orange suede recliners built for two. Each guest was given tickets for two to dine, relax and indulge at a show of their choice.
Additional products featured in the lounge included the original Buddha Board and Buddha Board Mini; Nike Crush and Nike ONE Vapor Speed golf balls; a custom deluxe 500-piece poker chip set from FullTiltPoker.Net; a certificate valued at $210 for services from Cooper Fitness Center and Day Spa at Craig Ranch; specialty chocolates designed by D Magazine’s best chocolate shop, Chocolate Secrets; Cattleack Barbeque Premium Reserve Barbeque Sauce; cookies created especially for the event from Crumbs by Gabrielle; candles by Vive Aguinale Luxury Healing Candles; Emmitt Smith Signature Cigars created by Champions Collection; note cards created by Heritage Auctions; couture pet beds from C.L.A.S.S.Y Ladies by DT; a $1,000 flight certificate from ATI Jet Executive Charter; and a $100,000 certificate from the Residences at Grand Lodge, Craig Ranch.
The official gift bag included a 3-piece travel luggage set from OmniQuest. Furnished by Anderson’s Furniture, Suite 22 also featured cocktails from Herradura Seleccion Suprema and Gentleman Jack distributed by Brown-Forman.
Suite 22 celebrity guests were also invited to sign two Emmitt Smith 22 specialty cars designed by Traxxas Cars. During the evening of events, Heritage Auctions sold one of the cars in the live luxury auction for $20,000.
