Thousands of vendors set up shop for the Sturgis Rally each year, and location is critical.

Black Hills Vendor Park is now taking reservations for vendor spaces during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. With a prime location just minutes from downtown Rapid City, the park offers vendors an opportunity for higher sales and greater exposure to the 500,000 people who attend Rally Week each year.

“Thousands of vendors set up shop for the Sturgis Rally each year, and location is critical to ensure you stand out,” said General Manager Jenneye Sartorius. “Black Hills Vendor Park has a premier location with high visibility from Interstate 90, the main road in and out of Sturgis. In fact, visitors can’t get to the region’s largest Harley-Davidson store without passing by our vendor park.”

Available vendor spaces include easy paved access and 24-hour security, and 110/220 power, phone lines and Internet access are all available. No vending permit is required.

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, one of the largest bike rallies in the country. The Rally includes concerts, races, bike shows, exhibits, organized rides, and a full schedule of entertainment. Bikers from across the country travel to Sturgis each year for fun, entertainment, and to experience the culture and atmosphere of the Black Hills.

“Last year there were more than $10 million in taxable sales from temporary vendors during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally,” Sartorius said. “It’s an incredible environment, and we have great opportunities to help vendors get in on the action.”

Vendor spaces are filling up fast for the 2010 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, set for August 9-15. For more information or to reserve a space, visit http://www.sturgisvendorpark.com or call 605.342.8302.
