- Appistry, the enterprise cloud platform leader, today announced that executives from Appistry, NJVC and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) will join forces to present a moderated panel discussion titled “Mission-Driven Cloud Computing Solutions” at the 2010 DoDIIS Worldwide Conference. This interactive panel will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. MST.
- Titled “Mission-Driven Cloud Computing Solutions”, the panel will be moderated by Teresa Westfall, Acting Director of Enterprise Architecture and Strategy Officer at the NRO and will include as panelists Appistry founder and advisor Bob Lozano, and NJVC engineering fellow Kevin Jackson.
- After outlining the value and challenges of cloud computing for the intelligence community, panel members will present a mission-driven process for developing practical cloud computing solutions. This process represents lessons learned from actual DoD pilot cloud computing projects.
- The DoDIIS conference is hosted by the Defense Intelligence Agency’s director for information management and the chief information officer and takes place May 23-27,2010 at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona. The theme for the event is “Mission Powered Partnerships…Keeping our Customers One Step Ahead.” The DIA CIO has made partnerships a top priority in DoDIIS’ strategic agenda for change.
