Charleston, SC (PRWEB) May 24, 2010
Tiffany Jonas, principal of Aio Design (http://www.webdesignforwomen.us/), a web and graphic design firm specializing in marketing to women, will speak to women business owners from around the country and world at the Women’s Business Conference in Washington, DC from June 9 to June 11, 2010. Hosted by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), the Women’s Business Conference seeks to unite women entrepreneurs and celebrate their success worldwide.
Jonas will present a session titled “Building Online Credibility: Dos and Don’ts for Small Businesses” during the “Power Your Brand” track. She’ll address practical ways female entrepreneurs can build credibility on their firms’ websites, design and navigation strategies, messaging techniques, and other ways to quickly build trust with business prospects online. She will also share common pitfalls and examples of what not to do when creating a virtual business presence.
“Taking simple steps to put your visitors’ concerns to rest can result in more website visits that convert into sales, particularly for small businesses,” said Jonas. “I’m honored to be presenting at this world-renowned conference and look forward to helping fellow female entrepreneurs approach their online brand with more intention and strategy.”
The conference will also feature speakers such as Katty Kay, Washington Correspondent for BBC World News America and co-author of Womenomics: Write Your Own Rules for Success and Valerie Jarrett, Senior Advisor and Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Engagement and Chair of the White House Council on Women and Girls. The conference is expected to draw hundreds of attendees from across the U.S. and globe.
