Her blog will cover a variety of themes -- among them, how it feels to be an American living and working in Europe, workplace life in a foreign country, and the cultural life in Norway and Scandinavia generally.

Paula M. De Angelis has started a blog about her life as an American expatriate in Norway. The blog is called "A New Yorker in Oslo" and will cover a variety of themes -- from workplace life in a foreign country to town hall meetings at the American Embassy to Norwegian and Scandinavian cultural life. It will also include some of her poems that will be published shortly as a collection entitled Parables and Voices. The link to her blog can be found at: http://paulamdeangelis.blogspot.com/

Dr. De Angelis relocated to Norway in 1989 from New York and has lived in Oslo for the past twenty years. She works full-time as a research scientist but has done a fair amount of consultant writing and online research work during the past several years. She is especially interested in workplace issues, workplace environments, leadership qualities, and the rights of employees, and published a book on passive-aggressive bosses in 2009 (http://www.amazon.com/Blindsided-Recognizing-Dealing-Passive-Aggressive-Leadership-Workplace/dp/1442159200).

She will be writing and updating her blog on a daily basis.
