NY-based developer and manufacturer of the world's premier powersport anti-theft systems further intellectual property protection on their award-winning product line.

RoadLoK Security (d/b/a of New Hampton Technologies, LLC) announced today that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has approved the issuance of a second utility patent for the company's RoadLoK® branded powersport locking system, filed on March 13, 2009; U.S. patent number 7,707,861 published on April 4, 2010.

The unique powersport anti-theft system, commercially available as “RoadLoK” (http://roadlok.com), utilizes a specially-engineered, removable hardened stainless steel pin to positively immobilize the protected vehicle’s wheel. The system is reliant on a permanently-affixed lock body—which is unique to the protected vehicle’s make, model, and year. The configuration of a permanently-affixed lock body and a removable lock pin makes the locking system both failsafe and fool-proof.

"We're continuously pursuing patent protection on our product line to preserve our employees' livelihoods, investors' stock, and distribution partners' resources. Working with companies such as Yamaha and KTM have exposed our technologies to worldwide markets--and our aggressive IP strategy continues to develop in concert with our OEM distribution strategy", offered Eric Xavier, RoadLoK Security's Co-Founder and OEM Team Development Director.

The RoadLoK powersport anti-theft system features a pin removably-affixed within a permanently-mounted lock housing on the vehicle’s frame. The operator is protected from vehicular damage and personal injury, because all movement is eliminated when the locking system is engaged. Traditional locking methods (i.e. padlocks, “disc locks”, and chains) allow the protected vehicle—for example: a motorcycle—to roll up to six feet before stopping the wheel. The Company engineered the anti-theft locking system to prevent this movement, thereby preventing unintentional damage and personal injury.

RoadLoK Security continually develops new powersport anti-theft locking systems collaboratively with the industry’s most notable manufacturers, engineers and designers.
