Crown Paints are delighted to announce that the latest stencil from the Crown Jewels collection 2010 is now available to purchase. The individual and modern design was produced in partnership with the Royal College of Art (RCA) and is the second stencil from the Crown Jewels collection range of 2010.
The “Rose” design appears hand drawn when stencilled on a surface, an effect conscientiously applied by designer Morten Underbjerg Olesen. Morten always felt that such a rose design was suited to the Crown Jewels most recent project, and felt it complimented the diverse range of colours and paint smells available from Crown Paints.
Morten is to soon graduate from RCA, the institute where he learned of the impact that new silhouettes can create when working with opposites, such as hard and soft. The outcome of such a perspective is often aesthetically pleasing, especially when executed to Morten’s high standards.
When attempting to add character to a room, the avant-garde new stencils cannot be compared to anything else on the market. They are enjoyable to apply and are suited to any room within a home. Crown’s exciting new Feature Walls colours, such as Chartreuse Mix®, vitalise the rose’s appearance, whilst shocking shades, such as Sticky Fingers® or Summer Pudding®, nearly match the scent of a rose with its paint smell.
