EJ Tavella, vice president of sales at Steelwedge, will participate in a panel discussion on “Incorporating Uncertainty in S&OP” presented by Stanford University and Teradata Corporation. Joined by executives from Applied Materials, Cisco Systems, Motorola and Teradata, Tavella will discuss how technology-driven sales and operations planning (S&OP) can help companies to better predict and manage demand and supply risk.
Scheduled to begin at 2:15 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, May 25, the event is part of the “Turning Supply and Demand Uncertainty Into Competitive Advantage” seminar organized by Stanford University's Forum on Global Supply Chain Management. “I’ve seen firsthand how supply-demand integration and an S&OP process that encourages collaboration have helped our customers to respond quickly and confidently to swings in the marketplace. Tavella has been with Steelwedge for 10 years and has dedicated his career to strategic supply chain management.
