FlashScreenSaver.com showcases new screensavers created with Adobe Flash every day.

Screentime Media today announced the launch of their new FlashScreenSaver.com website to promote cutting edge and high impact screensavers created for the Mac OS X and Windows platforms using Adobe Flash and Screentime Media's Screentime for Flash screensaver creation tools.

Screentime Media President Brian Hutchins says that “With all the controversy surrounding Flash at the moment we thought it was a good time to showcase the visual impact and connected capabilities of Flash, in particular when used to make the ultimate eye-candy – a screensaver. It would be a lot more expensive and difficult to implement many of these screensavers without the power of Flash”

The website adds new screensavers regularly and each posting includes a brief review, screen shot and download links.

The first screensavers posted to the site include a McLaren Formula One race day countdown screensaver, Iron Man 2 and Sex and City 2 movie screensavers, Symantec's “Threat Monitor” screensaver, which monitors the web in real time and maps hacking threats by intensity and location, a Twitter enabled Symbian screensaver that dynamically displays incoming tweets and a clock that uses Adobe's Kuler to dynamically provide the color palette.

FlashScreenSaver.com screensavers highlight how the power of Flash and the dynamic nature of the internet enables designers to create compelling high impact screensavers.

FlashScreensavers.com welcomes submissions of Flash powered screensavers for Mac and Windows.

Screentime Media has been creating software for Flash professionals since 1996. Screentime products include Screentime for Flash, the industry standard screensaver creation tool, and mProjector a rapid application deployment tool for Flash developers.
