New York, NY (PRWEB) May 26, 2010
TRAFFIQ®, the digital media platform that brings together advertisers and publishers, announced today that digital marketing veteran Nick Pahade will become the company's new CEO on July 1. TRAFFIQ's Board of Directors selected Pahade to lead the three-year-old company, which has been making significant platform developments as agencies and publishers continue to adopt the end-to-end digital media management platform in large numbers. Mark Kahn, the founding CEO who took TRAFFIQ from concept to commercialization -- including development of the company's online ad marketplace; partnerships with prominent agency holding companies such as Havas Digital, Worldwide Partners, Inc. and TAAN; and through Series A and Series B rounds of financing -- will fill the role of TRAFFIQ's President. He will continue to focus on sales, strategic partnerships and operations, while maintaining a seat on TRAFFIQ's Board of Directors.
Pahade, most recently President of TrueAction, a GSI Commerce company, has a unique background that includes both e-commerce and agency experience. He led global digital development for Publicis Groupe Media in his role as President of Denuo, Publicis Groupe's futures practice, and he co-founded Beyond Interactive Inc., which he led for over a decade. He has been recognized by MEDIA magazine ("Top 50 People to Know in Interactive Marketing"), Advertising Age (the coveted "40 Under 40" list) and MediaPost ("Online All-Star").
"I have been following TRAFFIQ's progress closely, and I am excited to be working with Mark and the team and the innovative platform they have built to help both agencies and publishers navigate the quickly evolving world of digital media," said Pahade. "TRAFFIQ has established significant traction with advertisers and publishers. I'm looking forward to delivering even smarter, easier and more efficient digital media buying solutions."
Unlike networks or exchanges, TRAFFIQ provides media buyers and sellers with a single platform that consolidates planning, RFP distribution, order execution, optimization and billing. By enabling ad buyers to post RFPs and publishers to respond directly, TRAFFIQ returns control of the media buying process to the agency/advertiser. This level of visibility and access to real-time KPIs make it easier for them to adjust campaigns on the fly to better meet clients' goals. And, as an end-to-end solution, TRAFFIQ increases an agency/advertiser's buying power and a publisher's selling strength.
TRAFFIQ has enjoyed significant buyer usage, publisher adoption and revenue growth over the past year, including a 297% increase in revenue for the first quarter of 2010 as compared to the same period a year earlier. In addition, TRAFFIQ has begun expanding into new markets with its recently announced Latin American initiative (TRAFFIQ Latino) that targets the exploding Spanish-speaking market. TRAFFIQ will continue to introduce other features and technological enhancements throughout the remainder of 2010.
"Mark and the team have played a key role in making TRAFFIQ into a leading platform for media buyers and sellers," said Brian Hirsch, a TRAFFIQ board member and managing director of Greenhill SAVP. "This is the right time to pull in additional resources to complement our already deep bench of both market and operational expertise. Under Nick's leadership, we know that TRAFFIQ can continue to scale while staying lean and innovative."
