Dan Cytryn, founding attorney of Law Offices Cytryn and Velazquez, a personal injury firm in Coral Springs, Florida, has been selected by Florida Super Lawyers magazine for inclusion in the Super Lawyers list for 2010. A Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer, Mr. Cytryn has been handling personal injury cases in South Florida for 29 years.
Super Lawyers magazine uses a strict selection process which involves evaluation and research of each candidate. To be selected to the Super Lawyers list, an attorney must have a high degree of peer recognition, ethical standards and achievement in their field. No more than 5% of the attorneys in the state are named to Super Lawyers.
“It is an honor to have been recognized and selected,” says Cytryn. “I have worked hard to try to better society, to help victims, and to fight corporations that are out of control and insurance companies who don't want to part with their money. I hope to continue serving in this capacity for the rest of my years.”
Mr. Cytryn has tried close to 100 jury trials and handled over 20 appeals, including the precedent-setting case of TGI Friday’s v. Dvorak in the Florida Supreme Court. He is a member of the Million Dollars Advocates Forum, is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell and holds a rating of 10 on Avvo.com.
A graduate of the University of Miami, Mr. Cytryn received his law degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1981. Mr. Cytryn and his wife of 25 years, Jill, have three boys - Harrison, 22, Austin, 19, and Logan, 10. One of Mr. Cytryn’s passions outside his career is basketball. He has coached basketball in Coral Springs for over 12 years.
Mr. Cytryn is available as a legal resource to comment on personal injury, medical malpractice and product liability issues.
