Single Reporting Solution Now Tracks Development across Multiple Systems and Multiple Tools

Aldon, the ALM company for IT compliance, today announced Aldon Report Manager 1.1, the latest version of its web-based report management solution, now providing users with a single reporting solution to track and report on teams working across multiple platforms and from multiple development tools. This powerful reporting solution consolidates data across development no matter how complex the infrastructure, and allows managers to quickly view, understand, and manage the data and generate the reports necessary for compliance initiatives or general project-management.

Now fully compatible with Aldon Lifecycle Manager (Enterprise Edition) and Aldon Community Manager (IT Service Desk), Aldon Report Manager 1.1 simplifies the reporting processes even further because it gathers information from users across the enterprise regardless of platform they are working on (Linux, IBM i, Windows, etc), or if they are working from other development tools (e.g. Subversion, Perforce, CVS, VSS, or Team Foundation).

Through the centralized Aldon Report Manager home screen, users can easily select and run reports from one of many pre-packaged templates on task status, activity history, release set up, change request backlog items, lifecycle progress, or create a customized query to meet their needs. This latest version ships with eight additional pre-packaged report templates for Aldon Lifecycle Manager (Enterprise Edition) in addition to the thirteen reports for Aldon Lifecycle Manager (IBM i Edition). The new version also features enhanced date range functionality.
