Awards Recognize Visitors' Picks for Technology's Best Products, Companies, and Services

For the 24th consecutive year, Computer Shopper ( has published the results of its comprehensive annual Shoppers’ Choice Awards poll, detailing its visitors’ favorite computers, electronics, and places to buy technology products. The survey asked site visitors to assess the products and technologies of the preceding year in over 50 categories.

"Our Shoppers' Choice Awards recognize companies and products that deliver outstanding technology, value, and service," said John A. Burek, Editor in Chief of Computer Shopper. "This is our version of the People's Choice Awards. We let visitors to—an exceptionally tech-savvy group of computer users—tell us which companies and products they believe are best in class."

The Shoppers' Choice Award winners were announced today at Reflecting the huge purchasing influence of the Computer Shopper audience, winners were picked across a broad spectrum of categories, including "Best Place to Buy Consumer Electronics," "Best Performance Desktop," and "Best Digital Camera." Thousands of voters voiced their choices, with online balloting open to all visitors.
