Ray Parker has been promoted to Vice President of Operations and Michelle Shaw to Director of Operations of DSH Management Solutions (DMS), LLC, a leading provider of consulting services for full-cycle DSH and 340B Revenue Management.
Mr. Parker’s performance over the prior year has been nothing short of stellar and his contributions to DMS's success have been material and significant. DMS's continued growth and prosperity is directly related to the hard work and dedication of our entire team and no one has contributed more. Ms. Shaw's dedication, commitment, and tireless hard work were noticed by DMS clients and colleagues alike. Their teamwork in their new positions will enable them to contribute even more to the growth and smooth operation of DMS.
DMS's mission is to enable eligible public and private inpatient facilities to optimize their Federal and State Disproportionate Share (“DSH”) revenue and to qualify or retain/re-instate provider entitlement to the 340B Pharmaceutical cost reduction program. Their approach expands the narrowly defined classic paradigm of DSH/340B management from retrospective Medicaid only to a comprehensive full-cycle oversight process that incorporates concurrent and prospective tools. This allows for coverage of not only Medicaid, but Medicare/SSI in addition to providing quantifiable measures to enhance documentation of the financial benefits provided for their clients.
DMS's (http://www.dshmgmtsys.com) MDSS® software suite is the industry leading DSH/340B focused integrated solution. It is a remote hosted, HIPAA compliant, 256-bit SSL secure system available as a stand-alone product that can be leased and operated by hospital clients, serve as the basis for partial or complete outsourcing of DSH/340B management services, or used by DMS in a consulting engagement. The system cross references and integrates current and historical hospital data, real-time regional and national Title XIX, XVIII and XVI eligibility/entitlement/claims data; state-wide public discharge databases, and federal/state regulatory driven mandated benefit coverage rules-based tables.
On average, with MDSS®, depending on client demographic and payer mix, DMS is able to identify, document, and corroborate and additional 10%--20% Title XIX days for use in Federal and State DSH supplemental revenue and 340B program qualification/requalification.
