In 2009, Hayes was recognized for his outstanding leadership by Tech America and received the Southeast Spirit of Endeavor Award.

Commenting on his decision to retire, Hayes said: “Founding FTRANS is one of my biggest personal accomplishments. I believe the market opportunity for the company is huge and I know FTRANS will continue to provide invaluable trade credit solutions for business clients. FTRANS is fortunate to have organized an outstanding set of investors and bank partners. FTRANS is in good hands with Dan and the leadership team, and I am confident they will achieve the vision we all share. ”
