Renegade Racing Attracts Celebrities to the 2010 Southern California Tri Series

Irvine based race management company Renegade Racing has put together the ultimate Southern California Triathlon Series that includes: Race on the Base Reverse Triathlon, Renegade Off-Road Triathlon, Breath of Life Triathlon, Magic Mountain Man and The Turkey Triathlon. For the true All-Around triathlete the So Cal Tri Series offers a little dirt, a little pavement, a little chlorine, a couple of hills and even a turkey. Participants who race all five events in 2010 will receive free entry to the Off-Road Triathlon or the Turkey Triathlon in 2011. Actress Maxine Bahns is participating in the 2010 Southern California Tri Series.

Ms. Bahns began her acting career while studying classics at New York University. She has appeared in the The Brother’s McMullen, She’s the One opposite Cameron Diaz and Amanda Peet, Charlie Valentine (starring with Michael Weatherly of NCIS), Conjurer (starring with John Schneider) which was an Official Selection in 2009 SLAMDANCE and the 2009 Las Vegas International Film Festival, Driving Me Crazy, and The Lost Tribe, and WWJD?. An avid Yogi, Maxine teaches privately and at yoga retreats. On moving to Los Angeles, Maxine became involved in triathlons, and in 2001 she competed in the Hawaii Ironman Championships. She has competed in over 30 triathlons. She has appeared on the covers of Runner’s World, Triathlete Magazine, FHM, and Fit magazine. In September she will begin filming another film, Broken, in Louisiana.
