Appointment builds agency's leadership in entertainment and talent field

Krupp Kommunications, Inc. (K2), a full service public relations, marketing and branding agency, announced that Joann Mignano has joined the agency as Account Manager. In this role, Joann will be responsible for growing Krupp Kommunications’ entertainment division.

Ms. Mignano has 10 years of public relations and marketing experience at prominent agencies with clients as dedicated to her as she is to them, following her over the years. This includes Bret Michaels, the lead singer of Poison, who has recently joined the K2 client roster. Sunday night Mr. Michaels, the lead singer of Poison, was named the winner of Season 3 of NBC’s “The Celebrity Apprentice.” He first became a reality rock star with three seasons of “Rock of Love,” VH1’s number one show and recently announced he is returning to VH1 for the docu-series “Bret Michaels: Life as I Know It,” starting with a half-hour special on VH1 on Monday, May 31, at 10 p.m., and then returning as a series this fall. Ms. Mignano continues to handle all media for Mr. Michaels, including the recent People Magazine cover story, and his interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

She most recently served as a Vice President of Entertainment & Lifestyle at FYI Public Relations – New York where she developed publicity campaigns for Mike Tyson, Fabulous, Michael Kenneth Williams, Jason Derulo, among others. Prior to FYI, Joann was an Account Executive at PMK/HBH – New York where she managed and expanded the sports division with clients such as Amanda Beard, Nastia Liukin, Ryan Lochte and Shawne Merriman. She also developed publicity campaigns for Rosie O’Donnell, International singer Delta Goodrem, Adrienne Bailon and others. Ms. Mignano began her career at Momentum World Wide working with clients such as American Express and Best Buy.
