SchoolFusion wins in Best Education Solution category

SchoolFusion wins CODiE award for Best Education Solution.

Now in its 25th year, the CODiE Awards continue to recognize those companies providing the best new technology products and services across a broad array of industries

The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) announced that SchoolFusion has been selected as a winner of the prestigious CODiE Awards in the “Best Education Solution” category. The announcement came at a special CODiE Awards dinner held Monday in conjunction with the “All About the Cloud” conference in San Francisco.

One hundred eighty-eight products from 136 companies were selected as finalists from more than 785 nominations submitted by 374 companies. Nominated products underwent an intensive review by subject matter experts, analysts, journalists, and others with deep experience in the field. 34 winners for the 2010 CODiE Awards were announced today. A listing of winners is now available on the CODiE Awards Website at http://www.siia.net/CODiEs.

“Now in its 25th year, the CODiE Awards continue to recognize those companies providing the best new technology products and services across a broad array of industries," noted SIIA President Ken Wasch. “In addition, its winners are a prolific testament to the power of technology to deliver innovative solutions to businesses and consumers. SIIA warmly congratulates all of the winners and nominees of the CODiE Awards, whose innovation is essential for continuing America's leadership in the global knowledge economy," Wasch continued.

In response to the award, President of SchoolFusion, Stephen Shapiro, commented, “We are thrilled to win in the Best Education Solution category. This acknowledgement from our industry peers confirms and strengthens our efforts to deliver the best K-12 website and communication solution to our education communities. Thanks to the SIIA for hosting this important event and congratulations to all who participated.”

Originally called the “Excellence in Software Awards,” the CODiEs were established in 1986 by the Software Publishers Association (SPA), which preceded the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA). The program was created so that pioneers of the then-nascent software industry could evaluate and honor each other's work. Since then, the CODiE Awards program has carried out the same purpose - to showcase the software and information industry's finest products and services and to honor excellence in corporate achievement and philanthropic efforts.
