HeartFirst announces James S. Rellas, MD is now a Diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Lipidology. The American Board of Clinical Lipidology (ABCL) is an independent certifying organization offering the first and only certification program for physicians specializing in clinical lipidology. The ABCL has established a rigorous credentialing process and examination that will assess and validate the specialized knowledge and advanced training required to practice in the dynamic and complex field of lipidology.    

Dr. James Rellas has been practicing cardiology in Dallas for more than 26 years. Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiovascular CTA, he now has certificates in Vascular Interpretation, Clinical Hypertension and Clinical Lipidology.
