Ohio philanthropist and entrepreneur Mark Jenney made donations to several charitable causes this month.

It’s all part of trying to spread philanthropy to others.

Mark Jenney, an active philanthropist and entrepreneur, made contributions to five different charity foundations this month, including:

  •     Special Olympics
  •     FINCA International
  •     North Shore Animal League
  •     Animals’ Angels
  •     Children’s Home Society & Family Services

“I’ve made it my mission to donate to one charity every day,” said Jenney. “It’s all part of trying to spread philanthropy to others.”

Special Olympics is where athletes with intellectual disabilities celebrate and are celebrated for their accomplishments. It's often the first time that our athletes have truly taken center stage and been recognized as individuals.

FINCA International provides financial services to the world's lowest-income entrepreneurs so they can create jobs, build assets and improve their standard of living.

North Shore Animal League America, headquartered in Port Washington, NY, is the largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization in the world. Since 1944, The Animal League's mission has been saving the lives of pets through adoption, rescue, spay/neuter and advocacy initiatives.

Animals' Angels sends out inspectors every week to markets, slaughterhouses and collecting stations to improve the poor conditions for farm animals.

Founded in 1889, Children’s Home Society & Family Services knows that a child in a safe, nurturing home is a child who thrives. Recognizing the fundamental human rights of children, they work to give every child security, opportunity, permanency, and a loving family. They help children without families find permanent, loving homes through adoption.
